Employment Opportunities
Stonegrove Guitar is always accepting resumes from people interested in teaching private lessons or working as a retailer.
Retail positions require the ability to play the guitar at an intermediate level or higher and require experience in the customer service field. Instructor positions require at least 2 years of teaching experience, or studies in performance or instruction at a college or university. (Bachelor students can apply) In a world where big mega stores have staffs of 100 or more, we take pride in our smaller local store because excellent customer service is important - no matter what the position is.
For potential teachers and sales associates, e-mail or drop off a resume with the following questions answered:
-
How long you have been playing guitar or bass?
-
What is your educational background?
-
What past job you've held with responsibilities listed?
-
Why do you want to sell guitars and accessories to the public?
-
What will you do to ensure that every customer experience is a great one?
-
If you are interested in teaching, how will you manage creating a program and tailor it to the needs of customers ages 6-75?
-
For potential teachers - what qualities make a great guitar/drum instructor and what makes a great student?
Currently, we are seeking new guitar instructors on Friday and Saturdays. We would love to find a guitar teacher who can also teach banjo and mandolin - or all three.
